The dinging sound of them reaching their floor pulled them apart, but since they’d already dropped off their suitcases, he knew exactly where he was going and had the key card in hand. He allowed her to enter first, then tossed the key on the table near the TV. The bed seemed to loom large in the room.

As he gazed at Candi he saw her eyes were riveted to the most obvious thing in the room. “Kind of intimidating, isn’t it?” he asked careful not to spook her. “But, it’s just a bed.”

She glanced over her shoulder at him. “It’s what we’re going to do on the bed that’s a little frightening.”

He stepped over and pulled her against his chest, raking his fingers through her hair. “Are you afraid?” He kissed her temples, then her cheeks and nibbled his way down her throat. “Don’t be. I won’t do anything to hurt you.”

“It’s just I’m not sure I’m good at this.”

That stopped him cold. He reared back and gazed into her eyes. “Sweetheart, this isn’t a contest, it isn’t a test. It’s just me and you enjoying each other.”

She put her arms around his neck. “I want you so badly, but I don’t want to disappoint you.”

“You can’t,” he said. “And I’ll prove it.”

He slowly unzipped the back of her dress and allowed it to puddle on the carpeted floor at her feet. She stood before him in a black lace-barely-there bra and the skimpiest pair of panties he’d ever seen.

Austin swallowed his eagerness and took a deep breath. “So far, I’m pretty damned impressed.”

Candi fought the strong urge to cover herself, but she refused to allow her fear of the unknown to spoil their time together. Besides, she’d wanted Austin longer than she could remember. “Am I the only one without clothes in the room?”

A small lamp on the side of the bed had been left on, so the room was shaded in dim light. She watched, their gazes locked, as he took off his shirt and tossed it aside. Then he unbuckled his belt and unzipped his pants.

Candi’s mouth became dry as burnt toast and her tongue stuck to the roof of her mouth. Slowly he lowered his pants, kicked them aside, and tore off his socks. He stood completely naked reminding her of a gladiator with lean muscles, broad chest and powerful arms.

The thing standing to attention between his legs captured her complete attention. He truly was beautiful. Her gaze traveled to his eyes, the dare plain and bold. She smiled, snapped off her bra and shoved down those Victoria Secrets she was glad she sprung for.

He grinned, took her by the shoulders and together they landed on the bed. They bounced once and then he kissed her. And it wasn’t just a kiss, this kiss was intentional and deliberate. He wanted her hot and ready. And she was.

Gasping for air, she scooted up further on the bed, while he kissed her stomach, her chest then took his time sucking on each nipple until she arched against him. He crawled up her body until their lips met again. Using his knees, he shoved her hips wide and slipped inside then paused, waiting for her to adjust.

His weight on her felt so natural and so sexy. She opened her eyes when he lifted his head and gazed down at her. “Are you okay?” He kissed her gently. “I said I wouldn’t rush you.”

She lifted her legs and wrapped them around his waist, forcing him deeper. “I don’t know if that’s such a good idea.”

Tightening her legs, she lifted her hips. “Baby, it won’t be if you keep up those kinds of moves. I’m about to bust already.”

Lowering her hips, he shoved deeper and she gasped. “Oh, that feels so good.”

“I’m glad because there’s a lot more where that came from. “

He kissed her and they moved in unison, both reaching for the same thing. The tempo got longer, faster, harder until Candi thought if she didn’t come soon it might not happen. “I’m not sure it’s going to happen,” she said in a tight voice. “I want it to but—"

“Baby,” he crooned. “Let it go. Just relax and trust that I’ll get you there. You’re going to come. “

The friction, the wetness, the smell of their bodies together took her to a place she’d never been before. “I’m...I’m. Oh, oh,”

“That’s it,” he whispered in her ear.

She screamed out his name, and they both tensed and an explosion of nerves, taut muscles and, finally, release had them both collapsing. He didn’t withdraw from her, but he shifted to her side so she no longer bared his weight.

She shoved her hair out of her face and let out a deep sigh. “I never knew it could be so wonderful.”

He kissed her mouth, hot and ravishing. “We have the whole weekend,” he said with a chuckle. “I have so much more in store for you, sweetheart.”

She wrapped her arms around his neck. “I’m so in love with you.”

“The feeling is mutual.” Then he began to move again.
